ABOUT ME
LOCATION: Cardiff
I'm Lucy, a recent 2D graduate from Nottingham Trent University.
I've always been a keen creative person and have loved film, television and art and design. Since being in university it's really opened my eyes to all of the possible career paths there are in the industry, although I would love to pursue a career in animation, there are many other roles within the media industry where I feel like I could utilize my current knowledge and develop new skills.
I particularly have an interest in creating short animations and one of my strongpoints would be character design.
I am also passionate about mental health and set up an Instagram design account, in order to sell some prints for the charity 'Papyrus UK'. So far I've had great feedback and would love to start doing commissions for people, this is something I'd like to continue over the course of my creative career.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS
As well as being interested in animation and digital design, I also am a keen sports person and enjoy middle distance running in my spare time. I also take part in Park Runs from time to time and train with my local club. As well as running, I also play netball for my local ladies team which I find has really boosted my confidence from meeting new people.
I also took up swimming in school and joined and competed for my local club, although I don't compete or train for a club anymore, I still enjoy a swim from time to time to keep up my fitness!
