Often I get asked to create some custom prints for people who reach out to my via my instagram. The majority of people who request would be giving them as gifts for friends and family. Sometimes they give image references or just a brief description of what they're looking for.
To complete these designs I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
During the course of the pandemic, the national lockdown had serious impacts on the deterioration of the nations mental health, particularly in young people as, young suicide was at an all time high.
After going back to University in September, I decided I wanted to raise some money for the charity, Papyrus UK, through the means of digital art. After getting in contact with the charity, they were happy for me to go ahead with the project. It was important that before I advertised the prints, I did not use any triggering imagery, especially when concerning a topic that is so fragile.
I used my creative Instagram to advertise and sell the prints. Between the end of October and November, I managed to raise just over £160 for the charity after donating all of the profits.
